Pomona Police Checking Child Car & Booster Seats

This morning the Pomona Police Department is here checking out child car seats and boosters for proper installation and overall safety. Thank you PPD for caring about our children!

The legislation went into effect in January 2012 that mandates children ride cars using a safety seat or a booster seat until they are 8 years old.

“However, most children need to use a booster seat until they are 10- to 12 years old”, said Stephanie Tombrello, executive director of SafetyBeltSafe USA.
